Wheat exchange has again turned down

Trading Thursday on the Chicago stock exchange resulted in a sharp drop in wheat quotations.

After a rise in prices the day before, as investors took profit. Additional pressure on bidding is implementing the strengthening of the U.S. currency.

However, the most influential factor was the results the next export week. Contrary to all expectations and calculations, it has failed.

December U.S. wheat futures fell.

• at 3.40 $/tonne to 145,41 $/tones of soft wheat SRW in Chicago
• by 3.67 $/ton to 148,81 $/tone for hard wheat HRW in Kansas city.

Hard spring wheat HRS in Minneapolis remained at the level of 192,72 $/ton.

Probably before the end of the week activity on the European markets will not be observed because the majority of operators will participate in the opening of the European commodity exchange in Turin. There they will be able to discuss the pace of export sales in Europe and competition from grain crops that have a black sea origin.

Price of wheat on the Paris MATIF declined to 158,25 Euro/ton or 175,91 $/ton.
