To support small-scale farming in 2018 will allocate 1 billion hryvnias

the Government has approved the allocation of 1 billion UAH in 2018 on the creation of new and development of existing farms in the framework of the program "Financial support of farms". This was told on 13 December the Deputy Minister of agrarian policy on development of rural areas and farming V. Sheremet.

Most of the products of the domestic agricultural sector is being implemented through small and medium farmers, particularly the cooperative Association and farmers. The new program provides for the granting of subsidies, compensation of cost of seeds and equipment loans.

Grants in the amount of 30 thousand UAH, the state will provide farmers was after 01.01.2018 that handle up to 20 hectares. Support of agricultural cooperatives will be effected through the reduction of the cost of machinery and equipment up to 70%, compensation for super-elite seeds of domestic selection, the cost of credit provided by state banks or those in the authorized capital of which the state owns 75 percent or more of the shares.

Now, according to Sheremeta, the ongoing consultations on developing programs to support farmers and agricultural cooperatives, and soon all the agreed proposals will be presented to the public.
