The moratorium on sale of agricultural land extended for another year

Bill prohibiting the alienation of lands of agricultural purpose, was adopted as a basis and in entirety at yesterday's session of Parliament 297 the parliamentary votes. Thus, the moratorium on land sales prolonged for another year.

Bill 2153-1 proposed to amend sub-item. 14 and 15 of the Transitional provisions (section X) of the current Land Code and to prohibit the purchase or sale, as well as the alienation of any other method of land that are for agricultural purposes as long as the procedures of the turnover of such lands will not be regulated by law, but in any case not earlier than 01.01.2018.

Yesterday the head of the Ministry agroprodmach T. Corner explained that the adoption was developed by experts of the Ministry of the draft law on turnover of land plots of agricultural purpose, would not mean the sale of the land.
