in the calculation of the possible volume of exports, the Ministry proceeded from the assumption that domestic demand accounted for 80 million tonnes of grain. The final decision will be made when it becomes clear the size of the harvest and the necessary of domestic consumption.

First MSG of Russia estimated the grain harvest in 110 to 115 million tons, but in may lowered the forecast to 105-110 million tons, and then in June will reach 100 million tonnes, grain exports from Russia in season 2017/18 is estimated at 53 million tons, and in season 2018/19 – 35-40 million tons.
