Ministry of infrastructure plans in the 1st quarter of 2017 to reduce port charges

Later, the Ministry promised to provide a new method of determining fees until 19 December 2016 and predicted a decrease of 30-60%.

This would give the opportunity to reduce the cost of overload of grain in the Ukrainian ports, which is now considered one of the highest in the world. A few years ago, the price of grain transshipment in ports of Ukraine amounted to 20-22 $/ton, and due to the construction of new terminals and simplification of export requirements from the state, today it dropped to 15-18 $/ton. For comparison, the cost of transshipment of grain in us ports is 6-8 $/ton, French – 7-8 Euro/ton.
