The Ministry of agrarian policy signed with FAO a cooperation agreement

Employees of the United Nations food and agriculture of FAO and the Ministry of agrarian policy signed a cooperation agreement and developed a program that will operate during the 2016 - 2019.

the head of the Ministry T. Kutovoy said that "cooperation with FAO has already made a significant contribution to the policy development of the agricultural sector and rural regions of the country. Generally signed a cooperation program includes several areas that are a priority for development of the agricultural sector and rural regions of Ukraine. These include the development of the investment climate in the country, the expansion of world markets, reform of the land sector and food security.

on the other hand, Deputy regional Manager of FAO in Europe and Central Asia Raimund Ile noted that Ukraine has powerful potential for the cultivation of agricultural products with increased added value. He said that a decisive role in the access of Ukrainian goods to global markets will play the adaptation of legislation to international and European standards.
