EU countries increase exports and reduce imports of grain

As of may 3, the EU countries in 2019/20 MG exported 43,917 million tonnes of grain, which is 60% higher than the corresponding figure 2018/19 Mr. Grain imports in comparison with the previous season, decreased by 17% to 21,547 million tons, while last week the gap was 18%.

Export corn totalled 4,402 million tonnes, which exceeds the corresponding figure of last year by 102% (last week: 113%). Corn imports in comparison with the corresponding period 2018/19 MG decreased by 14 per cent to 17,471 million tons (last week was less than 15%).
