IGC expects growth of grain harvest in 2016/17МР to 2.1 billion ton

According to a new report from the International grain Council in 2016/17 MG of production of grain will increase relative to the January forecast at 8 million tons and will reach 2.1 billion tons, 96 million tons, exceeded the season 2015/16, when it was raised 2.01 billion ton.

Evaluation of production increased mainly due to Australia, where this season produced record harvests of wheat and barley. At the same time increases the prospect of an abundant harvest of corn in South America.

the Forecast of gross yield of wheat remained unchanged at 752 million tons, against 737 million tons the previous season. Ending stocks will rise relative to the previous report to 1 million tons to 236 million tons, 15 million tons will exceed the remnants of last season.
