India and Turkey became the main buyers of Ukrainian oil and oilseeds

Ukraine in the 1st half of 2019 has put on the world markets of oil and fats by 2.4 billion $, which is 3% higher than the corresponding figure of 2018. The export of sunflower oil increased by 2% to 2.2 billion $.

the Main buyer of Russian vegetable oils and fats traditionally left India, whose share in the structure of our exports during January-June 2019 was 32.1%.

the Following positions are occupied by China with a share in exports of 12.9%, Netherlands (9,4%), Iraq (8.2%), and Spain (6.3%) and Italy (5,6%), which collectively buy 75% of the Ukrainian oil and fat.

the Export of Ukrainian oilseeds in the 1st half of 2019 has decreased compared to the corresponding period in 2019 by 5% to 619 million $. The main export positions (81% of exports) remains soybeans, which sold 1.5 million tons in the amount of $ 500 million. It was also exported 181 thousand tons of rapeseed in the amount of 76 million and $ 63 thousand tons of sunflower seeds in the amount of $25 million.

the Main importer of Ukrainian oilseeds remains Turkey, which in the 1st half of 2019 have increased their share in domestic exports of oilseeds to 31.4% or 199 million $ compared to 24.9% in 1H 2018. Only in 2019 Turkey can buy Ukrainian oil to $400 million.

75% of revenues from exports of Ukrainian oilseeds distributed among Egypt (13,5%), Belarus (11,7%), Germany (7.9 per cent), Greece (4,2%), Poland (4.2 percent), Lebanon (4.1%) and Portugal (3,7%).
