The head of Government ordered to resume the reimbursement of VAT

In the course of yesterday's session of the government Vladimir Groisman has instructed the head of the State fiscal service to resume reimbursement to exporters of value added tax, which was discontinued in June of this year. He stressed that the relevant registers urgently need to transfer to the Treasury for the necessary payment.

In turn, the Minister of Finance said that he did not understand the initiative of DFS is transferred to the Treasury registers for VAT refunds, in addition, it is a direct violation of applicable laws.

Recall that some of the traders have significantly reduced the purchase price of grain, and some companies have even suspended the purchase of grain in local currency, due to non-repayment of VAT refunds.
