Derzeitiger explained the controversial provisions of the moratorium on land sales

the Parliament on 20 December 2018 decided to extend until 01.01.2020, moratorium on sale of agricultural land, which, in particular, obliges the government to 01.03.2019 to develop and provide to the Verkhovna Rada a draft law on turnover of agricultural land.

Recently, the people's Deputy A. moshak stated that the moratorium would not be applicable in the period 1-20 January 2019 through was the decision to cancel the results of voting for the bill No. 9355-5, which was conducted with violation of procedure.

However, in Derzeitiger denied it and said that the moratorium on selling agricultural land will be in force until the adoption of the law on turnover of agricultural lands in Ukraine, in particular in the period 1-20 January 2019, as paragraph 15 of section X Transitional provisions provides that "any disposition of land or of shares is forbidden before the entry into force of the law on turnover of agricultural lands". During the moratorium notaries, as before, will not assure the agreement of purchase and sale of agricultural land, even if they are concluded in the period 1-20 January 2019.

in addition, Derzeitiger noted that the draft law on turnover of agricultural lands is under development and agreement with the representatives of agrarian public organizations.
