The share of agricultural products in total exports of Ukraine was 37.3%

foreign trade turnover of agricultural products in the first 8 months of the year amounted to $ 15 billion, informs Ministry of agrarian policy. The export of the agricultural products in comparison with the same period in 2017, increased by 65.6 million $ 11.5 billion $, which is 37.3% of the total amount of Ukraine's exports.

the Increase in export performance was due to increased sales of wheat, canola, offal poultry, eggs, nuts, chocolate, butter, and other products.

leading position in the list of export agricultural products is:

oil – 25,1%,

oilseeds – by 9.4%.

• crops 36.6% of exports of agricultural products,

the Main consumers of domestic agricultural products are:

the EU at 31.4%,

the countries of Africa to 13.3%.

• countries in Asia and 43.6% of total exports,

During January-August 2018 agricultural exports to Asian countries increased compared to the corresponding period 2017-259,1 $ million and amounted to 5.04 billion $.

the Largest importer of Ukrainian goods remains India, which has acquired agricultural products of domestic production in the amount of 1.3 billion $. The five largest customers includes:

Egypt – 685,5 mln $,

Netherlands – 671,9 million $,

Spain – 551,3 million dollars.
