The auction for the sale of government bonds reduced the dollar on the interbank market
on the first working day of January the dollar on the interbank market has grown rapidly from 28.3/of 28.33 UAH/$ 28,43/of 28.45 UAH/$ contrary to forecasts of experts, against the backdrop of low activity during holiday periods and an increase in the supply of foreign currency from exporters and scheduled for 5 January auction of government bonds expected depreciation.
This jump was triggered by curbing the sales of foreign currency by exporters who were expecting a better rate. But attempts to sell as much currency at the higher rate turned the market down.
