The milling tradition in Piratininga, according to historical data, begun in the mid-17th century. Before the great Patriotic war here there were two mills, built in 1868 and 1888. After the liberation of Pyriatyn from fascist invaders, the inhabitants of the town undertook the restoration of the city and its industrial enterprises, including mills. In March 1959 to the mill annexed the item "Zagotzerno". In 1977 the mill was attached a mill, Pyriatyn combine built in 1910 (now rye mill wholemeal).
The main activity of the branch is rendering services in taking, bringing the quality to the basic quality standards, storage and shipment of grain and processing it into flour.
The total service grain capacity of storehouses of the branch "Pyriatyn combine of bread products" is 39 thousand tons.
The processing capacity of montevado branch amount to 33.5 thousand tons of flour per year, daily capacity of the mill rolled wheat grinder with the capacity of 140 tons; and rye grinding mill Wallpaper 35 tons.
The main storing cultures are wheat, barley, rye, corn, sunflower.
